Key features include preliminary support for NT 4 SP6a and faster HTTP scanning. Advanced features such as centralized quarantine and support for parallel push installs are available when used in conjunction with ESET Remote Administrator 4 Beta. ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4.2 is faster, more powerful, and easier to use.

The Public Beta release for ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4.2 is now available in English and Slovak. This service build repairs a number of issues that have been reported in recent months as well as features and improvements such as support for Windows NT 4.0 (SP6a) and better HTTP scanning.

WHAT IS ESET NOD32 Antivirus?

ESET NOD32 Antivirus is ESET's solution to protect against computers from malware. It combine's the next generation of ESET's NOD32 antimalware engine with system inspection and bootable disc creation modules.


CONSIDERATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

The beta test version is a precursor of the final product without full functionality and documentation. It is intended for experienced users and should not be installed on computers which perform critical tasks because it may cause errors or crashes.

ESET NOD32 Antivirus Home Edition runs on 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) versions of Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows Home Server.
